My 3 Go-To Smoothie Recipes
I know a lot of us are hoping to create some healthy habits this year. After a year where I didn’t do a great job of making my health a priority, I’ve resolved to this year feel my healthiest, strongest and most mentally present. I’ve committed to carving out time to move my body daily, to working on my mental health (yep, going back to therapy) and to eating to feel my best! Let’s not call these resolutions then but more making myself a priority, who else is looking forward to a reset?!
Ok so on the note of eating healthier, one thing that helps me stay on track is incorporating a daily smoothie. Not only is it healthy and delicious, but it helps me get in those greens, lessen the sugar cravings, keeps me full so I don’t reach for the unhealthy stuff and because I pack on the protein, it’s great to recover from my workouts.
So, I wanted to share three of my go-to smoothie recipes with you ladies - don’t worry, they’re super easy and don’t require too many ingredients! I like my smoothies low in sugar, low in carbs and high in fiber BUT full of flavor!
One thing I’ve been doing lately that saves me a ton of time and energy is having my groceries delivered… trust me when I tell you it’s a total game changer! My secret… my Walmart+ membership! With it you get free same-day delivery on groceries and more ($35 order minimum. Restrictions apply). Not only does it give me more time to spend with my family and on my business, but it saves me the hassle and headache each week - and I can spend that time with my family or focusing on my health commitments, ie pilates obsessed! So, for me it’s totally worth it to be able to spend more time doing the things I love and less on the things I don’t.
The best part is I got all the ingredients for my smoothies AND then I decided to get organized and create and aesthetic situation for all my ingredients! Is it just me or visually making things look good instantly makes me use them more? I picked up these cute glass containers to store everything in, delivered right to my door. Seriously, no excuses right! I even picked up this tumbler for when I’m on the go! Walmart has a huge selection of organic, plant-based, gluten free and pretty much every other dietary restriction available online. Everything is broken into different categories so you can easily sort and find whatever you’re looking for. Check out all the healthy options you can order with a Walmart+ membership offers here!
Thank you, Walmart+ for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.
