Current Weekly At-Home Facial

Once a week I give myself an at home facial to keep my skin looking fresh and on track.  Honeslty I wish I could make it to the spa for the full luxurious experience but who's got time for that?! These are the exact products I'm currently using for my routine.  My goal is all about brightening, evening out my skin and keeping my face hydrated.  During the summer months I'm outdoors a lot so I stay away from my usual winter routines that include retinoids and more aggressive glycolics.  Retinoids/glycolics are photosensitive so being out in the sun will make pigmentation worse and can cause even more damage then what you started with so again only in winter for that stuff?  Of curse I still need to maintain and keep my skin bright so I opt to exfoliate and brighten with more natural gentle products like the below.  My summer goal is bright, luminous hydrated skin and this is how I work to get it! XO

CLEANSE:  Korres Brightening and Refining Cleanser, I like to use this at least 3 times a week to gently slughf off dead skin.  I especially like to use it on my at home facial days to make sure my masques and peels can penetrate and give me maximum results

MASQUE:  Colleen Rothschild Detoxifying Detox Masque; love this to pull off black heads and under the surface gunk.

PEEL:  Arcona Tabula Pads; after thoroughly rinsing off my masque I use these peel pads to remove any left over dead skin and kill bacteria.  I amp up use of these around that time of the month or if I'm breaking out more then normal.

TONE:  SKii Facial Essence; I use this daily to balance my skin and prep it before my treatments and moisturizers.  Costs a pretty penny but I love how glowy and smooth my skin feels after.  It helps that I've had this bottle for over two years.  I use it sparingly!

HYDRATE:  Skinceuticals B5 Gel; the older you get the more hydration you need and this hyaluronic gel is the bomb!  Hydrates and doesn't leave you sticky. 

MOISTURIZE and TREAT:  Skinceuticals Metacell Renewal B3;  love this to help combat pigmentation. 

EYE MASQUE:  I forgot to include this product in the picture but this eye masque is the bomb!!!  Belief First Aid 360 Eye Care Mask feels so luxurious and hydrating that I've actually been wearing it as an eye cream!  LOVE!
