Two Ways to Style the Spring Pastel Trend
Hi, friends! With the weather being so unpredictable and so in that awkward spot between spring and summer, I am ALL about transition pieces and light sweaters are just that. Honestly, when I am not sure what to wear these days, the easiest thing to reach for is a light spring knit. For today’s post I’m sharing how to style Spring Pastels two ways with one of my favorite knitwear brands 525 America! They’ve been in the sweater business for nearly forty years and it SHOWS, here’s a previous post with one of my other favorite 525 Sweaters. I love shopping for pieces from brands who are experts in whatever I’m looking for because I know I’m getting quality and true bang for my buck. Their selection is really diverse - so much sweater goodness!
Pastels are trending in full force this spring and it can be tricky to figure out how to style lighter shades of color in ways that still feel true to your style, especially if you tend to be a neutrals/black & white gal! Sweaters are a super simple way to incorporate pastels and bonus - they’re the ultimate transition piece.
Pastel Pink Gone Edgy
As a brand, 525 America has continued to evolve with the trends while continuing to hold their niche in the knitwear market. They’ve got the classics covered but then they always surprise us with fun little numbers like this pink knit! And ladies, notice this sweater is reversible!!! I’m wearing it both ways in these pics! I love the versatility of a reversible piece and I think both ways look amazing...there’s a drapiness to the silhouette that looks so pretty on everyone. A little shoulder and clavicle moment never hurts! ;)
I am all about styling colors with an edgier twist so I added a pop of dark lace with this bralette (ON SALE limited time) and some of my favorite ripped skinnies. Another way to play up pastels is to add texture, which is why the fringe neckline is perfect. I grabbed some snakeskin sandals to really chic things up. This look is totally girls’ night out approved but you could also grab your favorite flats and be good to go!!

Seafoam Sundays
For my second pastel spin I paired these seafoam skinnies with this cotton wide knit sweater and love the textures together. This look is definitely my Sunday family day look. Would also be a cute Easter look for those casual BBQ’s! I paired the look with these espadrilles that are SO soft! Super comfortable and a great Chanel dupe right!?
