Self-Care Sunday Plan

For me, Sundays are the perfect day for a little TLC. You girls know how much I adore a self-care moment, and I love taking the time to rejuvenate and prepare for the week ahead. I find that I feel so much better throughout the week when I take some time to myself on Sundays to do all things self-care…especially over the past year! So, today I’m sharing some ways I like to pamper myself so I’m feeling my best.

  1. At-Home Facial - Sundays I lock the door and take care of me! I do my at home facials, I self tan, was if necessary, I even You ladies know I’m super dedicated to my skincare routine! Sundays are my at home facial days. Here’s what my current self care Sunday looks like. I recently discovered the Cocoa Bean Cleansing Balm from Colleen Rothschild to remove my makeup - so luxe! Very similar to my long loved Radiant Cleansing Balm that legit smells like a spa but this one helps with congestion and to clear pores. Next I go in with a foaming cleanser because you know i LOVE my double cleanse method, literally changed my skin!

  2. Do a Face Mask - Next if I’m feeling congested or it’s that time of the month I LOVE this Clarifying Detox mask. I talked about it in my stories recently because I was so impressed with how it didn’t dry my skin while still clearing out congestion and dealing with breakouts! To be quite honest, at my age I don’t mess with anything that will dry my skin! That equals wrinkles so no way! If I have any problem areas (I know, SO annoying!), I’ll also use to spot treat. I find that it helps breakouts clear up faster.

  3. Hydrate- Ok next up I like to go in with some intense hydration with this Hydrating Mask that feels amazing! If my skin is pretty clear then I will alternate this Enzyme Polish to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells, also perfect prep for self tanning! Now last but NOT least, I cannot rave enough about this Extreme Recovery Cream - it’s SO hydrating and feels amazing on the skin! It feels luxurious, hydrates and I swear it’s been giving me a glow I’m loving! (side note; because I’m doing a lot of actives on this day I don’t use my normal Retinol Serum, otherwise every other night i do)

  4. Use an Eye Cream - Okay, I might sound like a broken record here, but retinol is my holy grail product! I believe it’s the key to the fountain of youth! I’m in love with the Retinol Supreme Eye Serum from Colleen Rothschild because it blends retinol and vitamin C to lift and firm the eye are while reducing puffiness and under eye bags - need I say more?

  5. Take a Bath - Is there anything better than a nice relaxing bath? I usually don’t have time to take a long bath throughout the week, so Sundays are the best days to unwind in the tub. I tell my kids that mama needs 30 minutes and try to enjoy some alone time, usually with a glass of vino!

  6. Self Tan - After my at-home facial, I like to add some face tanning drops to my skin to give myself a nice glow. It’s always ideal to tan after exfoliating. Plus, who doesn’t want to wake up Monday morning looking like they just got back from a tropical vacay?

  7. Take a Social Break - On weekends, especially Sundays I kinda black out of social. My job is social media so you can imagine I end up spending a lot of time on my phone and on apps. To give my mind a little break, I try to leave my phone in the other room for a few hours and just quiet the mind a bit. Highly recommend!
