Summer is in full swing and I am loving the summer fashion and taking a break from my denim! One trend that has completely shifted this season from evening wear to all day wear is satin and I am loving it!

Where satin used to be reserved strictly for special occasion/cocktail hour or intimates now you can easily find amazing satin pieces to pair with your denim or knits just like I've done here. This satin ruffle dress is so breezy and airy. The ruffle details are perfectly placed to flatter the body and can we talk about the back lace up?! Gorgeous! :)

I layered the dress to make it more casual with this gorgeous I Love Mr Mittens Kimono Sweater (similar here) and these sneakers for an easy daytime or nighttime vibe. How cute are my sparkly sneakers BTW!? Love and a total steal compared to the way more expensive Golden Goose sneaks! Win!
