STYLING TIPS

Choose a longer length - If you want to make your shorts work for date night or the occasional happy hour, I’d suggest opting for a longer length. It just looks more elegant and pulled together, if ya know what I mean, rather than a really short pair. Lucky for us, longer lengths and looser fits are coming back in style - you know I’m not mad about it!

Go for a darker wash - While I love a light colored wash for more casual wear, I think a darker pair like these are more appropriate for evening. They also seem more professional in a sense and look great paired with a black or dark colored bodysuit.

Throw a blazer over top - Nothing elevates a look more than a blazer! I’ll forever be a blazer kinda girl, and I think denim shorts look so chic paired with an oversized blazer. Whenever I want to dress up an outfit, I’ll throw a blazer or leather jacket on over the top!

Add some height - Most of the time, we think of wearing sandals or some sneakers with a pair of denim shorts… but why not throw on some heels? It’s an easy way to take your look from day to night. I’d suggest an open-toed heel so it doesn’t throw off the whole look.

I’d love to know what you girls think of series so far, so let me know if you’d like to see more of my styling tips and tricks!
