Girl On A Budget - Patio Retreat

Okay ladies, as part of my Girl On A Budget series, I’m bringing you some affordable (but always chic) outdoor patio finds today! We have several small decks, in addition to our patio, that I’ve been neglecting, but I finally got around to decorating one of them. So, I wanted to share some items I picked up to help turn this small space into an outdoor oasis. If you’re looking to spruce up your outdoor space, I’ll be linking my furniture and some other similar items that are budget-friendly but look expensive.

PS - we did not get a new dog - Clover had so many mats that we had to cut him SHORT, so don’t mind his haircut! Yes, we all cried a little when we saw him!

So, believe it or not, I found all the pieces I picked up to style my deck from Walmart. They have some really great home decor pieces and patio furniture that look luxe - because you know I’m very particular when it comes to my furniture. Plus, you just can’t beat Walmart prices!

Since I was working with a small space, I decided to use this pouf which doubles as a coffee table. Then, I stocked up on tons of pillows and blankets to add coziness and texture - comfort is key! Since plants are necessary to create that oasis vibe, I got this planter basket for my tree which just elevates the space. Remember these stoneware mugs from the set I got a while back and the matching bowls ? They ended up being perfect for my Lemon Lavender Cookies that as it happened my photographer brought over to our shoot-happy coincidence- OK they’re amazing so i had to share her recipe down below because they are that good!
