Family Holiday Outfit Ideas

Happy holidays from my family to yours! Now, I know family photos can get a bit stressful this time of year… especially when it comes to coordinating everyone’s outfits - believe me, I know! So, I wanted to share some easy and affordable (yay) holiday outfit ideas for the whole family, as well as some tips for capturing those photo ready moments…

When it comes to planning out family photo outfits, I recommend sticking with a color scheme. This year, I decided to go with black and gray with a pop of red - I know, festive right?! If you are going to do a pop of color, stick with neutrals with one or two pops of that color (because it can get tricky to match exact colors like red)!

Since it’s likely that my kiddos will never wear these outfits again - no matter how much I’d like them to - I didn’t want to spend a fortune on them. So, I got almost everything from Walmart which has been surprising me with their fashion lately. They have a great selection of on-trend pieces that won’t break the bank. I even found this super chic (and affordable) leather belt - how good is it?! So, I put together a couple family photo outfit ideas entirely from Walmart down below.

I also got all my chic holiday patio decor from Walmart like these little Christmas trees and these lanterns. I added this ribbon to accent for an extra touch. I’d love to know what your holiday plans are - are you planning on taking family photos?
