How To Effortlessly Style Patent Leggings This Winter + My Style Hack!

Cooler weather is finally here in San Diego and to gear up in the newest fall winter trends I alway head straight to Nordstrom! I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, their curbside is LIFE! Tonight I wanted to show you how I style patent leather leggings because I know they can be intimidating!

There’s a few categories of clothing that will never really ‘go out of style’ so to speak and leather

+ patent leggings are one of them. I look forward to styling them every fall & winter! They are chic, edgy, comfortable, and can be styled in so many ways making them a great wardrobe investment. You know I’m all about a great cost-per-wear piece! I I styled this look with these favorite leggings that super suck you in, this long coat, an oversized sweater, and black booties for a chic winter look.

While I’m at it how incredible is this coat!!? I can’t help but feel like a super hero in it! And it has a built in hoody you can zip up for extra warmth and sporty touch! AND it happens to be on SALE right now! I love that it’s an unexpected blue vs black, grey or camel too!

But like I said there are countless ways to style these, these patent leggings would look great in an all-black outfit or even paired with a graphic tee and sneakers. Style Hack: OK so here’s the deal with patent leggings, unless you have twigs for legs they are going to squeak when you walk so to avoid this I have a little style hack! Just take a bit of coconut, olive or really any kind of oil and put a dab between your thighs! I know sounds cray but it works!
