Bold

The days are getting warmer and I'm craving color. Bold color, clearly! Red has always been one of my favorite hues and pretty much the accent color that's woven throughout my wardrobe. If you don't already know or have an accent/pop color, I suggest you define this color for yourself because it will seriously make your shopping easier and ensure that your entire wardrobe is functional and cohesive. I suggest looking for a color you naturally gravitate towards and compliments your skin tone. That one color you wear and always get compliments on. For me I have olive skin with a lot of yellow undertones therefore cool tones work best for me. I will always pick a cooler red vs an orange or warm red.

Anyway, lately I have been loving all things feminine; pink, lace, ruffles... Seriously you guys, who am I?! I've been loving these feminine touches but with a twist! This top is so bold in color and in the dramatic drape that instead of these ruffles feeling dated or too girlie, it feels modern and standout. Here I opted to style a bit more edgy with the bold white pops and blue ripped denim but this top would look amazing with a high-waist black trouser and tucked in for a more elegant occasion.
