Pretty Lacey Things: Layering Bralettes

Hi guys! So this post comes at the request of a girlfriend and I thought it was such a great idea I jumped on it! Bralettes have become a pretty piece meant to be shown off just a little. Not in a vulgar way but just to add a touch of romanticism to your outfits. Here I've layered this incredible God Save Queens lingerie to turn up my classic white blouse. The trick with layering and making it still look chic is less is more. Don't show too much of your lace pieces, really it should be just a peek. I would never wear this particular bralette with anything that didn't pretty much cover the rest of me, that would just be too much!

Lucy's Style Tip: One thing to keep in mind is your body build. If you happen to be someone who is more curvaceous up top or even broad shouldered opt for a bralette with more coverage and support like this one, this one or this one. Think about showing off the straps with an off the shoulder top vs the bust area.

Back to this perfect white shirt, if you don't already have a great white button up blouse you need this one! I have been obsessed with all things DSTLD especially their moto jackets that you see me wearing ALL the time! They sent over this blouse and I am so in love! It's the perfect clean lightweight addition to my spring summer wardrobe!
