La Plaza La Jolla
Alright babes buckle up cuz it's gonna be a long one! BUT well worth it! If you've been reading along for a while you might know that I am lucky enough to live in San Diego. Seriously, I'm pretty lucky especially considering I grew up in Alaska (bbbrr) and resided in Seattle (rain, rain go away..) before I finally ended up In sunny, perfect year around climate San Diego! Yay me! Anyway, I love exploring my city but sometimes I tend to stay in my familiar downtown hub. Recently I was invited to spend the day in La Plaza La Jolla, a new beautiful shopping center in the heart of the La Jolla cove. An area I know well but honestly sadly make it up to. I had such a wonderful day exploring the new beautiful space and it's unique well curated shops and restaurants. This is my day in photographs and if you're in town don't miss a visit to this beautiful center and all it has to offer!

I started my day sipping coffee and having a little something sweet at the beautiful Elixir Espresso & Wine Bar. This place is so gorgeous I want to live in there, for real! It turns out they have 4 locations throughout San Diego and they are all equally beautiful. AND they take their coffee very seriously for all my coffee snobs, yes you. ;) It was a perfect early afternoon spot to get some work done while being in gorgeous surroundings! I'm coming back asap to try their gelato and obvioulsy for the wine too!

La Jolla La Plaza features a pretty spectacular young artist, Remington Weinger and her gallery. Her space is a breath of joy and color, so fun! I'm actually in midst of a home project myself and there are some pieces I would love LOVE to have hanging on my walls! AND can we take a moment and discuss this dress from Kenneth Barlis?! I mean totally out of my black, white, grey palette but I'm obsessed with it! Who am I?! ;)

Last but certainly not least I ended my time with La Plaza La Jolla at Catania Restaurant waiting for my Mr. This restaurant is so special and deserves a date night! Anyway back to Catania, it is part of the Whisknladle Hospitality Group who also own Prepkitchen and Whisknadle, I'm a big fan of both. Catania's food is a refreshing contrast to the other restaurants with coastal Italian cousine which is my favorite!!!! Fresh fish, crudos, and handmade pastas, yum! The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and the view from it's rooftop setting is stunning! Sadly on this day it was unusually overcast so I wasn't able to share them with you but I promise they don't disappoint!
