What I Ordered for Mexico
Okay ladies, for those of you who don’t know I’m jetting off to Mexico with a girlfriend next week and I couldn’t be more excited. Since it’s a girls trip, I wanted to have fun with my outfits - think spicy pops of color and bold prints. That being said, I just placed a huge order. I don’t plan on keeping everything but you know how online shopping goes. Anyway, I thought it would be fun to round up everything I ordered in case you girls are also planning a fun winter getaway. I don’t know about you but I’m so looking forward to some sunshine and a cocktail in hand!
SWIM
I threw together a few mood boards so I knew exactly what I wanted to pack. We’re going to Nayarit this time and I’ve never been before, so I can’t wait to see how I like it compared to my other favorite places in Mexico. I was influenced and placed my first order on Instagram. I picked up this adorable striped bikini with a rose applique. I can’t wait to see how it looks in person! I also got this black and white cover-up to match - such a vibe right! I’ve also had my eye on this Janessa Leone bucket hat for quite some time now so I finally pulled the trigger.
GIRLS NIGHT
For a girls night out I like to have a little fun and wear things I don’t always have the chance to wear. I picked up a few sequin dresses - when in Rome right? This red dress would also be cute for Valentine’s Day and this green one is so fun and unique. I also got up this fun skirt - the print just creams vacation to me! I always like to pack a few matching sets like this strappy top and matching skirt - they’re just so easy to throw together when you’re on the go.
SHOPPING, SIGHT SEEING, ETC.
When I’m going shopping or out sight seeing, I’m all about easy outfits that are comfortable as well. That’s why I got these Havianas sandals - they look so comfy and will go with everything. This adorable sleeveless top could easily be dressed up or down. I’d pair it with some shorts for a day out. For my travel day, I picked up this red sweatshirt - loving the red trend lately - as well as these stirrup leggings.
Every year I splurge on a chic resort style bag, and this year, this was it! I fell in love with it and added to cart immediately! I also had my eye on this swimsuit brand for a while, but unfortunately didn’t arrive on time, make sure to order 2 weeks before!
