Trending: Cardigans & Stripes

Okay ladies, to be honest, I’m not loving a lot of the trends I’m seeing lately. Mature florals, low-rise jeans, and 80s styles are not my vibe. However, one trend I can get on board with is pinstripes, menswear and relaxed fits. I’m actually LOVING the effortless feel of a striped button-down and an oversized cardigan loose enough to fall off the shoulder. So, today I’m styling the only trends you’ll be seeing me wear this spring…

If there’s one item youre spring wardrobe needs its an oversized pinstripe button up! There is nothing more effortless, easy to pair and chic as this piece! I popped into Nordstom the other day and found this striped button-down and I was in love! I literally created 10 looks just in my head so I knew I would get tons of use out of it! I love how oversized it is and the long back so i can easily also style it with leggings or leather pants.

- I paired it with white jeans but it could easily be worn with a pair of cutoffs or even as a beach cover-up. Plus, how perfect is it for a casual WFH look?

Right now, I’m loving the knit cardigan and bra sets trend. It kind of gives you that preppy but chic vibe which I love. This cardigan is perfectly oversized and has that school girl feel. I paired it with this knit bralette super affordable and I bought the black version too- is it just me or am I the only one who didn’t realize that you don’t necessarily have to find a matching set? You can mix and match and still get that same look! I’m also planning on styling this bralette with high rise wide leg trousers which is another menswear inspired trend i can get behind!
