You ladies know I’ve been doing a lot more traveling this year, and if you’re like me, then the struggle is real finding a chic but comfortable outfit to wear on the plane. Not only am I a last-minute packer, but travel days always seem so stressful. The last thing you want to worry about is figuring out what to wear just hours before heading to the airport. So, I’m rounding up some travel looks that I’ve worn over the years to make it a little easier on us all.
First of all, I always dress in layers when it comes to my travel day outfit. You never know whether the plane is going to be hot and stuffy or freezing cold, so it’s best to err on the side of caution. So, I’ll usually wear my coat or blazer to the airport no matter the season. Plus, it saves so much room in my suitcase. During the winter, I’ll usually wear a pair of boots so I don’t have to worry about packing the.
As far as bottoms go, leggings, joggers or trousers are my go-to. Nobody wants to sit on a plane for hours in stiff jeans, am I right? Then, I’ll usually layer an oversized sweatshirt (I love this $18 Amazon one) over a tank and throw on some sneakers. A hat and some sunnies are also key for those early morning flights - nobody has time for glam at the crack of dawn!
