My Kinda Date Night Tops

I’ve been shopping for more date night looks now that things are opening up and it’s warmer here. Who else is excited to actually be able to go out to dinner again? Date nights have always been one of our favorite things to do together as a couple (without the kids) so I’m happy to bring back this tradition. I’ll be sure to share more spring date night vibes soon, but here are some tops you can easily pair with all your spring denim now! Also swap out the denim and heels and try pairng with loose shorts and flat slides for a more casual vibe!

If you know me, then you know black is my color! Yes, even for spring and summer - it’s always flattering and never steers me wrong! It’s especially my go-to for date nights - super chic and tends to look dressier. Anyway, I found SO many amazing date night tops at Nordstrom like this puff sleeve cropped blouse that also happens to be under $40!! To be honest when I saw it online i didn’t give it much though and thn I tried it on and was shocked how much I loved! The shoulders have build in shoulder pads that really give it shape and make is more elevated! I’m all about those fit details! Anyway, statement sleeves are having a moment right now, and I’m really loving this ruffle sleeve top, and this lace one. Also pretty much all the cute tops I founds ar between $25-$60 and all Lucy’s Whims approved!

Leather is also one of my favorite looks for date night - here’s a post on how I like to style leather for spring! I found this faux leather bodysuit that would look gorgeous paired with some jeans and a blazer over the top. Here’s another great faux leather option!

If I’m feeling extra spicy, I might opt for a sequin top like this one - how stunning is the back detail? I’d dress it more casual with distressed denim and strappy sandals but would also be great for any special occasion! And because you girls always ask here is the bra to wear with these kind of backless tops. And for warmer nights, I love the look of a white blouse styled with some jeans and a pair of heels. I’m obsessed with this puff sleeve one - super romantic and perfect for date night!
