Girls Trip Itinerary: Destination Los Olivos

Last month I went on a girls trip to Los Olivos and had such an amazing time! So, I wanted to recap our trip because it's such an easy and fun getaway, especially if you're in the SoCal area. Even if you aren't, I highly recommend this charming small town just outside Santa Barbara. From wine tasting to horseback riding, yoga and bike riding, it's the perfect destination for a girls trip or romantic retreat for two... keep scrolling to for all the details from our trip !

WHERE WE STAYED

The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern

This place was so stunning and cozy! We had the best time lounging by the pool.

WHAT WE DID

Horseback Riding at Fess Parker

We had so much fun horseback riding and the views were beautiful.

Wine Tasting at Presquile, Vega and the Hilt

Nothing says girl’s trip like a wine tasting… right?! This family-owned winery was breathtaking and we had the best time on our tour. They craft exceptional, cool-climate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah from Santa Barbara County!

WHERE TO EAT

Bell's Restaurant

We loved the area that Bell’s in Los Alamos was in. It such a cool space which was unexpected for a Michelin star restaurant!

Bar Le Cote

THIS was the best meal we had the entire trip! Casual but elevated, the food and atmosphere were great.

P.S. the music was so good… I might have broke out in dance lol!

Maitte's Tavern

This was at our hotel but for being a hotel restaurant, it was excellent! We shared the tomahawk and it was amazing… the presentation was insane!

WHERE TO SHOP

THE LOS OLIVOS DISTRICT DOWNTOWN

Head to downtown Los Olivos District and pop into Layered by Paige Elise for home goods and Lou Los Olivos for the chicest fashion!

WHAT TO PACK

I’m rounding up a few of the pieces I wore in Los Olivos and sharing some additional inspo for your next trip! The weather in Los Olivos was amazing, but it can get a cooler in the evening so I’d be sure to pack a cardigan or sweater. Also, I would recommend packing flats or comfortable wedges because it’s mostly gravel so you'll kill your shoes!
