Fall 2023 Trends On My Radar

Fall is in the air ladies which means it’s time to break out those sweaters, boots and coats (well almost). Either way, fall is by far my favorite season when it comes to all things fashion. It also happens to be the time when I can’t resist trying out a few new trends. Now you girls already know there are some trends I can’t get behind, but there are always a few that stick out. So, here’s my fall 2023 trend report - aka - the ones I can’t wait to style…

CRUSHING ON COLOR

Gone are the days of a fully neutral palette. Lately, I’ve been seeing a ton of color make its way onto the scene. From pops of cherry red to bright yellow, hot pink and chocolate brown, this season will be all about those brighter hues. For all my neutral girlies out there, not to worry. Navy is making a major comeback so you could easily swap out that black blazer for a navy one. Or, you could wear an all neutral outfit with a red handbag or yellow sneaker. So, no matter what your comfort level, anyone can pull off this trend.

WIDE LEG JEANS

Skinny jeans have been making their way out for a couple years now, and while I think there will always be a time and place for them, for the most part I’ve been gravitating towards my wide leg pairs. I think they just give you a more cool, effortless vibe and are a lot easier to dress up with a pair of heels. That being said, I’ve even been loving the cuffed denim trend (just snagged this Agolde pair) and the horseshoe denim trend (I know it’s not for everyone but I happen to love it).

CORPORATE CAT CALL

Okay, this trend extends beyond the corporate world and I’m not mad about it. Trousers, blazers, matching pant suits, lady jackets, pencil skirts, and all things workwear are making their way into everyone’s wardrobe this season. You girls love when I share workwear, so get ready to see a whole lot more of it. You don’t have to be a corporate girlie to pull off this trend. Everyone from stay at home mamas to wfh ladies can incorporate this trend into their everyday wear!

PREPPY CARDIGANS

While cardigans never go out of style, this season I’m seeing a lot more preppy styles. This is almost an extension of the workwear trend, but expect to see a lot of stripes, gold buttons, and preppy details like pearls. I like pairing my cardigans with skirts, jeans, and trousers. You could easily dress them down with a pair of sneakers, or up with a pair of slingback heels. Either way, the preppy cardigan is a must for fall!

If you’re wondering what shoe trends I’ll be wearing this fall, don’t worry - that’s coming in my next post! Until next time!
