Selfie Diaries from the Nordstrom Sale Dressing Room
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has officially started and I'm sharing all my favorite items from the sale! I'm a seasoned professional when it comes to shopping the Nordstrom Sale, and this year I popped into the storefront to try on a few pieces I’ve been eyeing. Getting to see the sale items in person and actually try them on makes all the world’s difference! There are a ton of chic finds in this year's sale, so keep scrolling to get an up-close look at my top picks straight from the Nordstrom dressing room before they sell out!

This midi sweater dress was so flattering on, I had to add it to my cart! It was easily one of my favorites from my dressing room try on and it’s under $65. I’m wearing a size small here!
I absolutely loved this mixed media midi dress. The pleated skirt portion of the dress was so beautiful (and it’s lined). It would be perfect for the office with a cardigan or blazer, or you could dress it up for date night! This Veronica Beard dress was another favorite of mine. It’s timeless and could be styled so many ways. I love the belt detail and it’s so flattering on the body!
Of course, I had to share the rest of the dresses I tried on while I was in Nordstrom because they are so good!
The drape and settle of this knit top was chef’s kiss and the decadent brown color is so good for fall. This pencil skirt would be a perfect transitional piece to wear from the office to happy hour! If you’re normally between sizes, I’d be sure to size up! Also… tell me this printed skirt isn’t giving major Toteme vibes?!! It’s beautiful in person and the price is under $70! I sized up because it runs snug on the hips.
This trench coat was giving major Frankie Shop energy! I would recommend sizing down for a more tailored fit (I’m wearing an XS here)! These high waist trousers are a capsule wardrobe must and for a more relaxed fit I would size up 1-2 sizes.
Coats are notorious for selling out every year, so I rounded up the best outerwear I tried on from this year’s sale that I truly love! You can never go wrong with investing in timeless coats that you’ll wear year after year! This grey and cream reversible jacket from Lafayette was so gorgeous, plus so you get two looks for one.
A Lucy approved print! I immediately fell in love with these wide leg pants when I tried them on and they’re so breathable.
These black cropped jeans would be great to pair with boots or booties come fall/winter! I’m wearing a size 25 here and they run TTS! I also grabbed these high waist flared wide leg jeans to try on and the cut is so flattering! These also run TTS size and I’m wearing a size 25.
The wash on these Levi’s is so good and they’re under $100! I’d say to size up if you’re in between sizes. I rounded off my denim try on with these high waisted, raw hem jeans from Rag & Bone. Everyone needs a good pair of flare jeans, right!?
This ribbed set was so dreamy and also comes in ivory! It’s such a great price and I have a feeling it will sell out fast. It would be perfect to wear on-the-go or when you want to be comfortable + look put together!
