All Things Leather

Okay ladies, you already know I’m forever a fan of leather, so today I’m styling this all leather look and talking all leather! I know leather can seem intimidating at times, so I wanted to show how easy it is to rock a leather jacket, belt or boots. I also wanted to link some of my most worn pieces throughout the years - classic leather never goes out of style and you know I have to add in some trendy and faux items too!

My staple leather pieces get worn a TON and have become some of my most beloved items. They’ve also paid for themselves because I’ve gotten so much cost per wear.

Hot Tip: When to invest?! My formula is if I can style an item 1- different ways it’s worth the investment!

Since I'm a leather girl through and through, I hope this will inspire you to either dust off that leather jacket in your closet or try something new… maybe something a little outside your comfort zone.

I think an all black outfit looks best when you mix different textures together to add some dimension and interest. I paired this leather jacket with my favorite Tamara Mellon combat boots. I cinched the waist in with a leather belt for a feminine touch, and threw on some leggings…it was that simple! Plus, who says leather has to be uncomfortable? I kid you not, I could wear this outfit all day long! Keep scrolling for some of my other most worn leather pieces.

MOST WORN LEATHER

My love affair with leather is real, so I’m sharing some of the leather pieces I reach for over and over. I absolutely love these Marissa Webb paper bag pants! I have worn them SO may times, from cocktail events to casual date nights, and even paired with sneakers for sightseeing! They’re an investment but worth every penny!

We all love a leather moto jacket, but this Lamarque Azra one is elevated in such a chic way. The sleeves are SO unique and overall, this jacket is super flattering! I’ve actually worn it to black tie events with luxe trousers and a silk blouse. Another leather jacket I can't get enough of is the Allsaints Klyn one. It’s my go-to casual leather jacket - the one I reach for when I want to style jeans or athletic wear. You can see how I styled it here and here.

Okay so these Commando patent leggings aren't leather, but they deserve an honorable mention because I wear them SO much. The first time I styled them 3 years ago, half of you thought I was nuts! But… I think you've come around ;) They are so versatile and elevate any outfit. Check oout how to wear them for a winter vibe here!
