A Visit to Lake Arrowhead with Shalice Noel
This is a different kind of post for me and I hope you enjoy it as much as I loved putting it together. I'm letting you in on my more casual and off duty style and life. A few weeks back my family and our dear friends took a long weekend to visit Lake Arrowhead Village and The Shalice Noel A Frame. This trip was very intentional as I knew I had crazy travel for fashion weeks around the corner. I wanted time with loved ones, time to read and relax and fill up my love tank sort of speak. ;) I am so grateful to Shalice Noel for offering up her new and beautifully renovated A Frame to us. What a perfect place to recharge and make memories.
We cooked at home in this beautiful kitchen. The husbands where in charge of breakfast the mamas in charge of wine time and dinners! We did go out a couple times for dinner but the place worth mentioning is LouEddie Pizza, super yum and fresh! Get there early, there was a 2 hour wait! This article is good resource for restaurants in the area too.
As far as things to do in Lake Arrowhead this article was a great resource. We visited the cutest Lake Arrowhead Village and I had no idea! There’s a mini amusement park with rides and all sorts of games. The kids loved it! We also found that they a live music concert series with 80’s cover bands. So campy and fun! We brought blankets and wine to lounge and enjoy. Get there early to get your spot, it got super crowded in the summer and holidays. We took one day and went to one of the local beach clubs. Kids also loved that. You need a membership and Shalice had one that she kindly extended to us. There’s also this nearby waterpark that looked super fun but we ran out of time.
Lake Arrowhead is such a great destination is you are looking to recharge, get in nature a bit, maybe do some hikes and in the winter time go skying! Perfect quick trip year around. We normally visit Big Bear for a long Thanksgiving weekend but this year we are thinking Lake Arrowhead instead!
The best part of this trip was hands down spending precious time with my little family and my dear friends. Truly priceless! Wait, did I mention that The Shalice Noel A Frame sleeps 12 people! We where a group of 9 and had plenty of room!
