How to Add the Feminine Trend to Your Looks
How To Add the Feminine Trend To Your Looks
Hi Ladies! Hope you are all having a great week so far! I am making my way back to reality after a busy couple of weeks of travel. New York Fashion Week and London Fashion Week content is coming but meanwhile I wanted to bring you a post I worked on some time ago but never posted.
If you’ve been following me for a while you know that I definitely tend to steer more towards the edgy rock and roll side of things. BUT today I wanted to try out some feminine touches because the trend is coming on strong… BUT in a more understated way. For this look I focused on my accessories to make an otherwise pretty casual, dare I say basic outfit really stand out. I think this is a great strategy to not make an outfit feel overworked and more wearable. As much as I love the ultra head to toe feminine looks, I just don’t have anywhere realistic to wear them. No garden parties happening here. This doesn’t mean that I still can’t include elements into my styling. I guess that’s what I hope I deliver to you; a way to make the trends I see in publications and the runway attainable for the every day woman.
So in closing think accessories to add whimsy touch like slindback shoes that are so girly (love these) , small sweet bags like this one from TDE that I love and is actually a great alternative to the Chloe Nile bag! Also maybe pair femine floral tops with grounding jeans or a flowy dress with a leather jacket. This will let you wear a trend but still easy to live life in that look!
On another note, I wanted to put out there that I am rally going to work on creating more consistent content for the blog for you. I realize that I often post a single image of a look in Instagram and if you miss it it’s hard to find again. I will do my best to make sure to add those looks to the blog with all link details included.
Cheers ladies!
