Rust Summer Nights
Happy Friday! Who's excited for the weekend?! So guys, I think I have a problem, I keep buying this rust color in everything! I am obsessed with it. I just love the warmth of this color and that it transitions so easily between my summer/spring styling but will also look rich enough for winter months with deep hues.
Summer nights in San Diego still get pretty cool and if you live near the ocean you are at least 10 degrees cooler so for me knits are a year around need. I also happen to get cold easily so this knit is perfect from day to night and year around. I love the cropped and cowl neck design, gives a really effortless slouchy fit. I paired it with these high rise denim because let's face it, crop tops with a low rise is for teens in my opinion. No judgement but I've had kids! ;) Speaking of these jeans, these will be my forever beloved jeans. They are so slimming and have the perfect amount of distressing and guys, they are under $100! WIN! I've actually bought multiple colors in this style and sizes because I'm scared they'll discontinue them. They are TTS.
I finished the look with these gorgeous lace up sandals because again it's summer so toes out! I love this combination of color. Royal blue with rust, it just looks luxe don't you think? I used this color combo in this post too, wearing one of my favorite blazers that is now ON SALE here and here!
Hope you guys have a great weekend! What is everyone up to? Also, how many local to San Diego followers are here? Would love to hear from you!
XO, Lucy
