Tulum Days in Sangria Sandals

Hi guys!! First off, let me start out by apologizing for being away from the blog for so long! Between the holidays (yes its been that long), travel and work projects on my social I stayed away too long! Anyways, I'm back and so excited to share this post from my recent trip to Tulum. If you follow me on Instagram (and you should) you saw some of the highlights of the trip and know that it is paradise! My family and I usually take a trip in late January / early February for mine and my daughter's birthdays. It's become a tradition that we started before we had kids and we love to do it post-holiday to recover from the madness. We usually go to Hawaii, but this year we decided to venture to Tulum as I heard so many great things about this little gem! White sandy beaches, warm waters year-round, amazing chefs/restaurants and a boho effortless vibe. Needless to say, it was magical!

One of my favorite things about a tropical vacation like this is the attire -- duh! Yes, I know I live in San Diego but we definitely don't have the tropical climate that you can wear resort wear comfortably. My packing list consisted of easy slip dresses, crop tops and of course slides! Speaking of, take note of my beautiful minimal Sangria Sandals. These where essential for my trip -- easy to pair daily with everything and instantly dressed up any outfit! I have a weakness for metallics and these in silver looked great with my gold, silver or rose gold accessories. Excited to wear these back home for my off duty looks in denim and jumpers!
