Goodbye Summer in Vintage Levi's & Kimono

Yes, I know it's August and summer is technically over but temps are nowhere near fall weather so I'm going with it! The great thing is this look can easily transition when Fall finally makes its appearance just swap out the shorts for jeans or my favorite leather pants and done!

One of my favorite trends that keeps coming back in different iterations is the Kimono robe. This summer it was all about long kimonos in bold colors and luxe fabrics like satin, velvet and such. I saw a similar look done with a Gucci robe that was crazy cool, embellished with rhinestones and amazing embroidery...clearly out of my budget! So I recreated my version of the look. I found this Kimono robe at Zara on sale and I'm sorry to say it's sold out but I did find some similar ones that I think will give you the look! I paired my look with my old, like really old vintage Levi's shorts that I basically lived in all summer until I found THESE! I wore these killer shorts in this and this Cabo post in case you missed it and they are seriously the best pair of shorts to date! Then I finished it off with some bold sandals to really play up the colors.

I love this outfit and love that I can wear my robe lounging around my house and then style it up for a night out!
