NYFW Day 1 Recap

Happy Monday guys! I've been a little off the radar on the blog because honestly NYFW wiped me out! But I'm back and so excited to start sharing all my looks starting with this one that is a FAVORITE!

Since this is my first time at Fashion Week I really set out to stand out in my outfits! I wanted to play with texture, pattern and and color hence the look for day ones Marissa Webb show and the following events. As you know I have a special place in my heart for animal print and this Essentiel Antwerp skirt was love at first sight. The pleating really elevates it into a more dressed up style while the animal print is fun and super versatile. I paired it with the bold blue hues of this amazing Candace Circus Royalty top, a brand that I've been obsessed with for a while; see here and my trusty Aquazzurra Wild Things! The look is fun, bold and I will wear all the pieces separately easily.
