Trending: High Rise Denim
Have you noticed that in an ocean of skinny jeans there is a new denim trend emerging?! Looser and more relaxed, with high rises to still give a slim flattering silhouette. Otherwise known as mom jeans, I choose to call them"relaxed high rise denim"! Calling them mom jeans just makes them not cool so let's agree to rename them ok?! It's pretty refreshing to mix this new style into my wardrobe and so comfortable! Today I paired my 'Relaxed High Rise' Citizens of Humanity jeans with this super sweet She In off shoulder top. Baring the shoulders is a great way of balancing the proportions and keeping the look slim. These jeans a slightly cropped and let me tell you a secret. Lucy's Tip; having a slight crop to your jeans makes your legs look longer and slims the entire silhouette of an outfit. If you've noticed I roll, hem or distress all my jeans around the bottom hem so I'm showing 1-2inches of ankle. Try it and see the difference it makes!
