Crop Tops + Hems
I just got back from Miami Swim Week and let me tell you it was awesome! It's my first of what I hope will be many other Fashion Weeks to come. I plan on doing a blog recap of some of the shows I attended and all my outfits of course! I will say this, cheeky bottoms are definitely in so I guess I better get on that stair-master ASAP!
Anyway about this outfit, its pretty simple but has a few details that make it special and unexpected. First off I went DIY again on my Mother Denim High Rise Jeans and gave them a Hi-Lo hem that is so in right now. Such a quick way to update any old pair of skinny jeans. I simply cut the front part of my hem about 2 inches shorter then the back and voila! This style of hem looks so good with heels as well as with flats like I did here.
The second detail that is unexpected is this candy colored Kanjana Designs clutch. You'd traditionally wear a bag like this for evening wear but I loved it with this daytime look. Added a little summertime fun to the outfit don't you think!? Hope you like it!
