Mixing Neutrals

With Spring quickly approaching I'm starting to lighten up my wardrobe.  Mixing in neutral shades and lighter fabrics like this Free People Modern Muse top.  It is the prettiest pale petal color and mixes so well with other neutrals.

*Lucys Tip: The key to mixing neutrals is to make sure you stay along the same depth of color.  It gives a somewhat monochromatic look which looks really clean.  I also like to use more cool neutrals like pale pinks, greys, and lavender shades.  These colors work best with my olive warm skin tone.  If I try to do anything too golden or warm I end up looking like a giant banana, seriously no creams or caramels for muah!  Take a look at your wardrobe and make sure you are wearing the right tones for your skin tone because not all neutrals are created equal for everyone!

Thanks for stopping by guys!

Cheers,

Lucy
