Hey Guys! Just in time for the weekend I bring you this weekend OR Holiday ready look! I guess you could say this is my idea of holiday colors, red, leather and metallics! Festive don't you think?! ;) I have serious love for anything leather (faux) and I've mentioned it before buy I think EVERY woman should own a pair of great leather pants! I have a couple that I cherish and wear year after year after year. These Blank NYC pair are perfect if you are a little fearful of investing a lot of money because they are under $120 bucks and feel just as good as the real deal!

A little advice on fit; leather pants should be cut slim and either a skinny cut or very slim flare. Keeping the cut close to the body will prevent adding any bulk. Pair your faux leather with chunky knits, denim, satin or silk and flannel on top like I've done here! The contrast in textures will give the outfit interest and make it super luxe. Also I always like a bigger proportion on top to balance the look, tight on top and bottom is very hard for anyone to pull off! ANYONE! I finished this look with a cozy shag sweater that again adds that volume on top and adds a layer of interest. I chose to war super high sandals (that happen to be on sale here) but this look would just as easily be worn with boots or even sneakers!
