Summer Into Fall

Right now is that weird in between seasons time of the year for many us and there are still pieces in my wardrobe that I'm not ready to pack up to move onto the next season! For one, I can't afford to buy a complete new wardrobe every 4 months! For two, I'm not sick of some of the great things I bought not that long ago! So I bring you the re-purposing or let's say getting creative with my existing wardrobe.

Layering unexpected pieces is BIG right now and I saw this trend done a lot with slip dresses and a T-Shirt so I decided to give it a spin. I suggest keeping it simple with your color palette if you're hesitant to try this trend like I've done here. Basic white Tee, black slip dress and finished off with this gorgeous burgundy Blank NYC Biker Jacket that is restocked after selling out every time it hits the web! The pop of color from the jacket gives this layered look interest, texture and the deep jewel tone makes it feel like fall. All and all I'm pretty happy with how this layered outfit turned out!
