Jacquard

I don't wear a whole lot of patterns, I guess I'm more of a solids and stripes girl.  But I try to step out of my comfort zone every so often.  Jacquard is one of those patterns that can be really good or look like grandmas couch so this was def out of my normal wheelhouse!  I've had this skirt for a LONG time; like 2 years; but every time I put it on it just wasn't right.  I tried pairing it a few different ways and all of them just where not me until I slipped this Topshop sweater on.  The proportions just work.  The skirt is short so wearing something more over sized on top gives it a more casual refined look by not showing too much skin.  That's generally my formula; show a little of one but not both.  It also let's the skirt and the bold pattern stand out without making me feel like a pinata!  ;)  I then grounded the whole look with neutral basics with the Saint Laurent satchel and Nude Heels.  What do you guys think!?

As always thanks for stopping by!  Would love to hear what you would love to see more of?  Leave me your suggestions in the comments below!  XO
