Happy New Year Babes!
Happy almost New Year! What's everyone got planned to ring in 2016??? I cannot believe another year is almost behind us! This year has had so many great moments for me personally and professionally. We are still neck deep in construction on our house; hoping to be done and moved in by March. Our kids are healthy, vibrant and more fun (and crazy ;0)) everyday. I've learned so much about this bloggin biz and hopefully you are enjoying what you see and read! With all the joy has also come loss and sacrifice but from that lessons learned and bonds strengthened. All and all I am full of gratitude for every day that I am gifted!! For the opportunity to make 2016 better then the last. I'm super excited to see what 2016 brings and secretly I think this is going to be a really special year! A year where I want to challenge myself to take better care of myself, my family, my home, my friendships and my spirit. Let's go BIG in 2016 and make it an epic one! Thanks for hanging out with me and really giving a damn about my "Whims"! Truly I am grateful for anyone that visits my little corner of the internet. XOXO
Enough of the sap and let's talk NYE fashion! For this NYE I'll prob be wearing a version of this getup, maybe throw a leather or faux fur jacket over my shoulders to keep me warm through the night. You've probably noticed by now that I like to keep things pretty simple. I'm not into a lot of patterns or things that are too trendy. Pretty sure I've never been caught in sequins on NYE, no offense. I guess it feels to expected. Instead I wear my sequins with a pair of ripped jeans and leather booties in the daytime... I digress, sorry! For me this is the perfect New Years Eve outfit; polished, comfortable, sexy but still understated. Give something like this a try this year, I promise you'll make a statement!
